2022. Just in time for the holidays, a new Christmas album is scheduled for a December 12, 2022 release. This year, Paula and Liz are delving into the roots from North Carolina and Liz’s childhood favorites. As a minister’s kid, Liz and her two older brothers were always mesmerized by the secular side of Christmas. They grew up hearing hymns, choirs, and organ music that accompanied the arrival of the Baby Jesus. And that was all well and good, especially the Hallelujah Chorus! But they were very curious about the other side of Christmas which included snow, reindeer, Santa Claus, and lots of family celebrations around the table. “A Southern Christmas” is an album made with love and joy, featuring singers Louis Price (lead singer of the Temptations), Hannah Lewis, Emily Colombier and Matthew Lewis. The latter three singers are Paula’s children, as this entire album has been a family affair from the very beginning.
